UnParallel Canada Warranty

Customer satisfaction is greatly important to us, that’s why all UnParallel footwear purchases are covered by a limited one-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Overview

UnParallel Sports warrants that all UnParallel climbing shoes are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase. This limited warranty applies only to products purchased from authorized retailers or distributors.

What is covered?

This warranty is intended to cover defects in manufacturing and is not a guarantee of product lifespan or performance under all conditions. Climbing footwear is subject to significant abrasion and stress during normal use, and gradual deterioration is expected as part of regular wear.

Each claim will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by UnParallel Sports Canada

What is not covered?

This warranty does not cover damage or conditions resulting from normal use, misuse, or external factors. Common exclusions include, but are not limited to:

  • Normal wear and tear, including worn rubber, thinning toe caps, or reduced friction from use

  • Abrasion, scuffing, or cosmetic damage from climbing surfaces

  • Holes in the upper or rand caused by repeated contact with rock or gym holds

  • Stretching, softening, or loss of stiffness due to regular use

  • Damage caused by improper sizing or fit

  • Damage resulting from resoling, modification, or repair by unauthorized parties

  • Damage from accidents, impact, chemicals, excessive heat, or improper storage

  • Odour, discolouration, or material breakdown due to sweat, moisture, or environmental exposure

  • Commercial use

  • Products purchased second-hand or from unauthorized sellers

Important Clarification

Climbing shoes are performance equipment designed to experience friction and abrasion. Rubber wear, rand wear, and upper abrasion are normal and expected outcomes of climbing activity and are not considered defects.

How to submit a claim

To submit a claim, please open a ticket by clicking on the messaging button on the bottom right. You must be able to provide:

  • Proof of original purchase

  • Clear photographs showing the issue

Products may be required to be returned for physical inspection before a determination is made.

Remedies

If a product is determined to have a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, UnParallel will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product,

  • Replace the product with the same or comparable model, or

  • Provide store credit or refund equal to the original purchase price.

Warranty replacements do not extend the original warranty period.

Limitations

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Liability is limited to the remedies described above. UnParallel is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages resulting from product use. βš–οΈ
