Adding an address or location to a customer

How to create a new shipping location and link it to an existing customer

Overview

Multiple shipping locations (known as "Addresses") can be created and assigned to a single customer β€” so long as they share the same billing entity and billing address.

Pre-Requisites

There are a few important rules to be aware of when creating new customers:

  1. Create a Customer Account before adding additional addresses / locations

Creating & Linking a New Address or Location

❗When inputting the Province, please ensure you are using the 2-letter abbreviation to ensure tax rules are applied automatically (i.e. AB, BC, PE).

  1. Navigate to the "Manage Addresses/Locations" page via the "Customers" dashboard.

  2. Click "Add Address" and fill in the location's information

  3. Associate this Address/Location with the correct customer account. Don't forget to hit "Save"!
