Adding a contact to a customer

Adding a buyer, billing or manager contact to an existing customer

Overview

Multiple contacts (i.e. buyers, billing contacts, managers) can be created and assigned to a single customer β€” so long as they share the same billing entity and billing address.

Pre-Requisites

There are a few important rules to be aware of when creating new customers:

  1. Create a Customer Account before adding additional addresses / locations

Creating & Linking a New Contact

  1. Navigate to the "Manage Contacts" page via the "Customers" dashboard.

  2. Click "Add Contact" and fill in the contact's information

  3. Associate this Contact with the correct customer account.

  4. After hitting "Save", navigate to the Contact's linked Customer account by clicking on it

  5. Assign the Contact to the relevant fields (Billing, Buyer, Alternate) if relevant. Don't forget to hit "Save"!
